Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 15: Contrary to the tall claims of the Bharatiya Janta Party to bring transparency and putting an end to corruption in government departments, the saffron party leaders when assumed ministries in the erstwhile J&K state overstepped their predecessors as they made sole aim of accumulating more and more money, by hook or by crook. One such issue came to fore in the Small Scale Industrial Development Corporation Limited (SICOP), wherein former Industriies Minister allegedly allotted projects works worth Rs 12 crores under different centres without tenders to one of his relatives. Sources informed Early Times that showing thumb to codal formalities envisaged in the book of law, the officials of SICOP especially the project managers of IID Centres viz Kathua, Jammu and Udhmapur allotted projects worth several crores to a particular firm without tendering.
