Within 2 months, scams tarnish AAP’s Punjab report card

Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3: Even as the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab had produced its “report card” of seven months of “good governance” in October, the same has allegedly got tarnished with at least two scams being reported from the neighboring state within two months. On October 16, the Punjab government had formally released its report card. Presenting the report card, Cabinet Minister Aman Arora had said the state government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had “ushered a new era of politics in the state by eliminating the corruption and mafia culture patronised by previous government in the past seven decades.” Since then, however, two major scams have been reported against the same AAP government. While one of the cases of corruption has gone infamous as “promotion scam”, the other one is the “recruitment scam.” In the case of the promotion scam, around fifty percent of the aspirants who were shown as the failed in the written exam were declared as qualifiers subsequently in reevaluation for the promotion for the post of Naib Tehsildar. Massive crackdown to dismantle terror ecosystem; SIA conducts multiple raids

Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 3: Acting on the directions of Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, the State Investigation Agency (SIA) continued its offensive against forces to dismantle the terror ecosystem. The SIA on Saturday recovered Rs 29 lakh cash during raids at different locations. Raids were conducted in connection with the terror funding case to destroy the terror ecosystem. “Continuing to rein in the networks of terror outfits to destroy its ecosystems completely, SIA conducted searches at multiple locations across Kashmir Valley,” SIA said in a statement. Early Times Report JAMMU, Dec 3: Principal Secretary Housing & Urban Development Department (H&UDD), Dheeraj Gupta today inaugurated J&K’s first FASTag enabled Parking Management System at Multi-Level Car Parking General Bus Stand Jammu. The smart parking was launched as part of UT of J&K’s My Town My Pride Campaign.
