Jammu, Aug 16: State Revenue Department has been hit by adhochism as junior officers have been officiating at important posts while KAS officers are being transferred in whimsical manner in violation Transfer policy.
Sources informed Early Times that the top brass of department were harassing officers by misusing their official position. "In the month of June 2013, Revenue department ordered pre-mature transfer and posting of 13 Tehsildars", sources said, challenging that these transfers were pre-mature and decisions were taken in the lieu of vested interests by the higher officers of the department.
They further said that on July 16, 2013 the Revenue Department issued an order of temporary look after of the posts of Tehsildar to adjust eight blue eyed Naib Tehsildars. "The Department gave charge of Tehsildar to Phuntsog Wangtockook NT Samroo Borba as Tehsildar Samroo Nobra, Mohd Shafi Lone, collector Land Acquisition PDD Srinagar, as Tehsildar Special Tribunal Srinagar, Ch Mohammad Malik NT, Harwan, as Tehsildar Relief Organisation Srinagar, Ch Mohi-ud-din Banday NT Nazool Srinagar as Tehsildar (T) Pulwama vice Ab Rashid Malik, Ab Rehman Dar NT Budgam as Tehsildar (T) Beerwah, Nazir Ahmad Shah NT Kupwara (A) as Tehsildar (AR) Kupwara, Ch Nabi Malik NT Thathri as Tehsildar Relief Organisation Srinagar, Manzoor Hussain Malik NT Relief as Tehsildar Relief Organisation Srinagar and Ab Quyoom (ALC) NT Relief was given charge of Tehsildar (T) Mandi" sources informed.
The Revenue Department on July 26, 2013 further ordered pre-mature Transfer and Posting of Junior Scale KAS Probationers of 2012-I batch at the disposal of the administrative Departments. "The department ordered of pre-mature transfer of 10 Probationer KAS officer including 11 Tehsildars", sources added.
Sources alleged that the nexus of top brass of revenue officials further ordered pre-mature transfers of five SDMs and ACRs. "On July 26, 2013, the Revenue department ordered of transfer of Assistant Commissioner, Revenue, Udhmapur and Posted as SDM, RS Pura, SDM, RS Pura Mohammad Yousuf Malik was transferred and posted as ACR Samba, ACR Samba Ashwani Khajuria was transferred and posted as SDM Mahore, SDM Mahore Tilak Raj Shamra was Transferred and Posted as ACR Reasi and SDM Mendhar Shafiq Ahmed, was Transferred and posted as ACR Poonch", the sources said. |
