Bhai Kanahiya Jee Nishkam Seva Society lauds Nowabad police

Jammu, Apr 4: Bhai Kanahiya Jee Nishkam Seva Society today has appreciated prompt action from Nowabad Police for taking action against seven persons including an advocate who were booked for alleged assault case.
According to handout issued by Bhai Kanahiya Jee Nishkam Seva Society, the spokesperson lauded the swift action of police to book and arrest the six of accused after registering criminal case against seven persons by the Nowabad Police following written complaint of Mohinder Singh s/o Jaswant Singh of Nanak Nagar.
The statement stated that the seven persons namely Surinder Singh, advocate, s/o Balwant Singh of Gole Gujral, Ranjeet Singh s/o Mishra Singh of Chatha Farm, Manjeet Singh s/o Madan Singh of Simbal Camp, Surjeet Singh s/o Amir Singh of Gadigarh, Gurdev Singh s/o Mahtab Singh of Khandwala, Manmeet Singh alias Bitta s/o Netar Singh of Amphalla and Manjeet Singh alias Rockey s/o Krishan Singh of Nanak Nagar attacked on Mohinder Singh and Paramjeet Singh on the other day.
"The incident occurred, just few days before the arrival of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu during a function at Guru Nanak Dev Ji Gurdwara Chand Nagar, where he had to arrive as Chief Guest, statement said further adding, "the incident took place at the behest of one advocate Surinder Singh."
The statement said based on the complaint, Nowabad Police registered a case against FIR No 182/13 u/s 341,323,147,148,295 RPC and 4/25 Arms Act.
"All the accused were arrested and later bailed out and a summon was issued against Mohinder Singh alias Sony son of Jagar Singh of Simbal Camp, the statement added.
