HC stays demotion of Physical Master to PET 4/16/2014 11:24:31 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 16 : In a petition filed by Joginder Pal Gupta Physical Education Master Higher Secondary School Batote whose rank was reduced to Physical Education Teacher) , State High Court issued notice to DG Youth Services & Sports, Secretary J&K Sports Council, Director School Education Jammu, ADC Ramban, CEO Ramban, ZEO Batote and Principal Govt Higher secondary School Batote returnable within four weeks and stayed order No DG-YSS/36-41 whereby the petitioner was reduced from Physical Education Master to Physical Education Teacher. Justice Tashi Rabstan after gone through the petition and arguments of the counsel for the petitioner directed the subject to objection from other side , the operation of order impugned No DG-YSS/36-41 whereby the status of the petitioner was reduced from Physical Education Master to Physical Education Teacher shall remain stayed. In the petition, it has been submitted that in the month of January, 2013 some students from class 11th of Govt Higher secondary School Ramban Batote with the Minister of State Technical Education that the Principal Higher Secondary School Batote demanding illegal gratification from the students to pass them in 11th class examination and when they refused to give illegal gratification to him, he failed them. After receiving of the complaint, the MOS directed ADC Ramban to hold an thorough enquiry in the matter, the ADC conducted an enquiry and gave clean chit to Principal and all other concerned officers. ADC Ramban also conducted an ex-parte enquiry against the petitioner and submitted the report to the Director School Education Jammu who forwarded the same to DG Youth Services & Sports, who then issued show cause notice to the petitioner and passed the demotion order of the petitioner from Physical Education Master to Physical Education Teacher, which was challenged.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
