Political opportunism or Modi wave, Andrabi joins BJP campaign | | | K Koushal JAMMU, Apr 16: With sole motive to grab political opportunity, Dr Drakshan Andrabi too joined the Modi campaign at Kishtwar Town few days back following withdrawal of SDP candidate for Udhampur Parliamentary seat Liaqat Ali Magray despite the fact that the opportunist leader was continuously attacking both congress as well as Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). It will be difficult for Dr Drakshan Andrabi, Supremo, Socialist Democratic Party (SDP) to answer some harsh questions like why she joined the Modi campaign at Kishtwar clandestinely and later shared dies with BJP National President Rajnath Singh in Udhampur town yesterday when the leader has been slamming the BJP and Congress for the worries of people in the state. It is quite obvious that Andrabi has planned a better future for her party and not the commoners which seems evident from the fact that the Jammu-Poonch candidate was not withdrawn against Jugal Kishore Sharma of BJP but the nomination of the weak candidate Liaqat Ali Magrey was withdrawn owing maintain her relations with the BJP to ride on the Modi wave. It is pertinent to mention here that Magray resident of Village "Gagre", Tehsil Thathri of District Doda was a candidate from SDP for Udhampur Lok Sabha, who had filed his nomination in the presence of SDP Supremo Darakshan Andrabi with great pomp and show at Kathua claiming biggest victory over the seat is turned in favour of BJP and withdrew from the stand of contesting of election. While speaking to the media Magray had said that the decision is based on a conclusion after having a deep and solid debate over the BJP's position in state as well as across the country which seemed strong, logical and rational under the leadership of dynamic and fire branded leader and prime ministerial nominee Narinder Modi. |
