CB produces challan against Chairman, Secretary of Sainik Colony Housing Society Fraudulent allotment of plot 4/16/2014 11:30:02 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 16: Crime Branch Jammu today produced challan in Case FIR No.31'2010 u/s 420, 467, 468, 471/RPC P/S Crime Branch, Jammu against Kuldeep Singh S/o Late Angrez Singh R/o Bawa Place, Lane No. 5, Lower Roop Nagar, Jammu; Mohan Singh Jamwal S/o Late Udham Singh R/o Nanak Nagar, Jammu; Lt. Col Iqbal Singh S/o Naseeb Singh R/o Sainik Colony, Jammu; Daulat Ram S/o Nikku Ram R/o Sainik Colony Jammu; Kartar Singh Padwal S/o Shanker Singh R/o Sainik Colony Jammu; Romesh Chander Mehta S/o Late Ishwar Dass R/o Sainik Colony, Jammu for fraudulent transfer of Plot No. 706-C situated at Sainik Colony, Jammu. The case was registered against the above mentioned accused persons on the complaint of Lata Gupta W/o Late Ram Ditta R/o F-468, Roulki Bakshi Nagar Jammu wherein it was alleged that her husband had purchased a plot No 706-C measuring 10 marlas situated at Sainik Colony from one Raghu Nath Singh R/o Akhnoor on 21-05-1991 and payment of Rs. 58000/- was made to Raghu Nath who handed over the possession of land to her husband. The said Raghu Nath Singh died before the transfer of plot in the name of complainant's husband. Later on, one Lt. Col. Ravinder Singh S/o Tarlok Singh R/o Pattan Kashmir A/P 90/1-C Sainik Colony Jammu through his father as his attorney holder has fraudulently got the aforesaid plot No. 706-C Sainik Colony, Jammu transferred in his own name by fabricating the fake documents in connivance with one Kuldeep Singh and the then Directors of Sainik Colony Housing Society. Crime Branch, Jammu conducted thorough investigation and during the course of investigation the allegations levelled against the accused persons have been established.
