Expert Lecture on Nanoelectronics, VLSI organized at SMVDU | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 16 : The school of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University today organized an expert lecture on "Nanoelectronics and VLSI" by Prof Sudeb Dasgupta, Associate Professor, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering IIT Roorkee. According to press release, the lecture was attended by the students, scholars and faculty members of the School. Prof. Dasgupta spoke about the importance of Nanoelectronics and its relevance viz a viz the field of electronics in general and further elaborated on the design of analog and digital systems on nanoscale. He explained subsequently the basic structures of analog & digital system from the VLSI design aspect. The audience actively participated with their view points and doubts which were appreciated by the speaker for their relevance and enthusiasm. He also said that the school is going in the right direction towards achieving excellence with the kind of achievements it has attained in this short span. The School of ECE regularly organizes expert lectures and workshops in leading research and technology areas to ensure that the students of B.Tech, M.Tech. and Ph.D. program are kept abreast of the latest research in the field of Electronics and Communication engineering. The event was coordinated by Ashish Suri, Assistant Professor and TP Coordinator of the School. He also intimated the audience about the next schedule of expert lectures planned by the school. |
