3-day Devika Baisakhi Mela concludes

UDHAMPUR, Apr 16 : Over 1.40 Lacs visitors including men, women and children of all faiths witnessed 3-day Historic Devika Baisakhi Mela being celebrated at Udhampur every year on first of Baisakh which concluded with traditional fervour and gaiety here, today late evening. Deputy Inspector General of Police Udhampur, Mr. Gareeb Das was the chief guest on the concluding day of the Historic Devika Mela . District Information Center Udhampur also put up photo Exhibition based on theme depicting natural picnic spots, heritage monuments, historic temples of the district. The visitors showed their great interest in the exhibition.
Among others, Additional SP, Udhampur, Chairman of the Mela Committee, Advocate Surinder Khajuria, Mela Officer were also seen supervising the mela arrangements at the venue
