Husband booked for allegedly killing wife | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Apr 17: Rajouri police have booked person for his involvement in the alleged murder of his wife on the intervening night of Tuesday and Wednesday in the vicinity of Rajouri city. The accused has been identified namely as Zulfikar Bhatti an owner of welding shop, police sources said. "After receiving information from the resident of Kheora, police sources said and added, "Police team rushed to spot and searched the house of Zulfikar Bhatti an owner of welding shop and recovered the body of his wife Tahira Parveen." After spot preliminary investigation and on the information provided by the neighbors police has registered a murder case under section 302 RPC against Zulfikar who gone missing after the crime along with minor girl. Sources added that Tahira Begam d/o Mohd Aslam r/o Kotdhara (Rajouri) was married at Alber In Rajesathan and was kidnapped and brought to Rajouri by the accused . As Tahira had no child from her first marriage she was bringing up a girl child of her brother-in-law and also brought her to Rajouri. "The couple was having estranged relations police said quoting some neighbourers and further added after allegedly strangulating his wife Zulfikar went missing along with the girl. Hamid Choudhry, DSP headquarters said the case is under preliminary stage and police is investigationg the matter thus we can't comment right now. He however added that it has been established that accused has estranged relations with his wife Tahira and allegedly had killed her.He added that accused has been booked in murder case and man hunt is on to nab the accused and tpo rescue the minor girl from his clutches. |
