MPs from Kashmir never spoke of HR violations in Parliament: AAP | | | Early Times Report
Srinagar, Apr 17: Raja Muzaffar Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader and Lok Sabha candidate from Srinagar parliamentary seat has accused that no Member of Parliament from Kashmir dared to raise their voice in Lok Sabha against the human rights violations . He said that MP's from J&K have not even uttered words for the bijlee , pani or sadak , how can they dare to raise issues of enforced disappearances , custodial killings etc, there are records that an MP from Hyderabad Asadudin Owaisee raised more than one thousand questions in the Lok Sabha , but the MP's from J&K have hardly asked 200 to 300 questions at an average and this is a shame for them" Muzaffar while addressing public at Tilsara ,Hyatpora and Qazipora which are the main pear and almond growing areas said that horticulture sector particularly almond , apple and pear crop in the area has suffered tremendous loss in Chararisharief and upper areas of Chadoora in Budgam , but the authorities haven't even made the rough estimates of the losses. He further said that "The MP's from Maharashtra can raise issue of damage caused to onion crop in their state, but MP's didn't uttered to speak a word about the damage caused to our horticulture industry from the last many years . Even our MLA's have not bothered to take up this important issue at various forums". |
