Students asked to submit documents to AICTE by April 25 | PM's Special Scholarship Scheme | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 21: The students who have been selected for early sessions under the Prime Minister's Special Scholarship Scheme for J&K, have been asked to submit all relevant documents to All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) directly through their college/institution by or before April 25 as a proof that they have not discontinued and are pursuing studies in their colleges/institutions. According to Secretary Higher Education Department if the documents are not submitted to AICTE, the scholarships will not be released in favour of the students and the defaulters shall have no claim on the scholarships in future also. He said that in the Inter-Ministerial Committee meeting regarding PM's Special Scholarship Scheme for students of J&K, held at New Delhi on April 17, the AICTE informed that documents of students, selected under the special scholarship scheme have not been submitted to the AICTE by the colleges/ institutions in which these students are enrolled. |
