Jammu police conducts PCPG meeting in village Phinder | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Apr 21: Police today conducted a PCPG meeting in Police Station Bishnah, wherein around 100 prominent citizens of the area were present. The meeting was held by SP Hqrs Jammu, Randheer Singh, with a view to garner the support of public and seek their support in order to wipeout the evils being faced by them. Several issues were highlighted by the participants, for which on spot directions have been issued to SDPO/SHO. The locals were assured that their genuine demands will be taken up with the concerned authorities for remedial measures. The participants extended their support to the police in tightening noose around the criminals by providing timely information. They appreciated the role of Jammu Police in solving around 17 cases and lauded the efforts made by Police. People were assured that all steps will be taken to safe guard their life and property. SHO has been advised to take people friendly initiatives, lay special nakas and enhance patrolling especially in peak hours so that the disgruntled elements are not able to indulged in the criminal activities or sale and distribution of banned drugs in the area. |
