"Articulated intellectuals" don't care for local BJP, RSS leadership to get mandates | Established direct link with central leadership | |
Early Times Report JAMMU, June 17: When "committed" BJP workers were holding discussions at Bhaderwah to formulate strategy to accomplish the Mission 44 Plus, some "highly educated and English speaking articulated intellectuals" were camping at New Delhi to ensure mandates for the coming Assembly elections. These English speaking intellectuals have realised that instead of wasting time in meetings at Bhaderwah and other areas, it is fruitful to be in New Delhi and interact with party leaders in English and throw light on Article 370 to ensure mandates. Credible sources said that when BJP's meeting was going at Bhaderwah on Saturday and Sunday, half a dozen "intellectuals" were in Delhi to meet with some national leaders for mandates. In Jammu these intellectuals were trying to give a message that BJP leadership was running after them to get party mandate because party is in a desperate need of English speaking intellectuals but in reality these intellectuals are trying to convince central BJP leaders, who have English as their weakness. Ironically these intellectuals have identified their own seats despite the fact that state BJP leadership has yet to take decision on Assembly seats. There is feeling among these intellectuals that there is no need to take local BJP or RSS leadership into confidence. They have established direct contact with some Delhi based RSS leaders and central leaders of BJP. These intellectuals have taken inspiration from Dr Jitendra Singh, who in span of just three years, has rise from a primary member of a BJP to the Union Minister. |
