JK Bank employee commits suicide 7/26/2014 11:31:45 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, July 26: An employee in Jammu and Kashmir Bank allegedly committed suicide late last night by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. Police after completing legal formalities handed over the body to family members. "The deceased has been identified namely as Viney Kumar (32 yrs) s/o Mohan Lal of Panditgham late last night committed suicide reportedly by hanging himself with a ceiling fan. The deceased was married a year ago," sources said. According to police sources, after finding the body of the deceased hanging from a ceiling fan, the family members immediately broke open the room and shifted him to District Hospital (DH) Kishtwar where doctors declared him as brought dead. After doctors declared him brought dead, the family members shifted him to home with the pretext that he (Viney) died due to cardiac arrest. As soon as police received information about the suicide of the youth, police party led by SHO Police Station Kishtwar swung into action and took custody of the deceased youth at around 4 AM today morning. After taking the custody of the dead body, police conducted the autopsy of the deceased through medical team at District Hospital Kishtwar and later handed over the same to their family members for last rites.
