| Indu pawar visits flood affected areas of Marh | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26 : Indu Pawar, MLA President Mahila Congree visited flood affected areas of Marh constituency on today. She visited villages Dhat Reyal, Marh, Kantowala, Rathoa where heavey rains and cloud burst on the area has brought havoc on the residents.
She met the affected people in above mentioned villages and expressed her sympathies with the sufferers and assured to take up with the Government for passing relief to the victims. She talked with Deputy Commissioner Jammu also, who said that Government machinery is already pressed to mitigate sufferings of the flood victims and assured to compensate the loss suffered.
Recent floods have caused extensive damage to roads, other infrastructure and large number of cattle's has been lost in these villages.
She asked that matter for compensation of loss of animals will also be taken up with the concerned authorities. |
