| PDP alone will address SC, OBC grievances: Chalotra | | Beware of coalition Govt's anti-people policies' | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 26: SC and OBC wing of the Peoples Democratic Party has cautioned people to remain vigilant against what it called 'antipeople policies' of the incumbent coalition government in the state.
As per a party statement, a weeklong tour was conducted by the party members to various urban and rural areas "which have remained affected due to non-development for the last so many years being situated near the LOC and border area".
The members of the team led by Madan Lal Chalotra, Vice-Chairman SC/OBC Wing- PDP, as per the statement, were astonished to know the non-development in respect of education, water, electricity, medical facilities, unemployment etc and how the people are living in the area without such facilities which are essential today for living. "So called politicians are clamming India has entered in 21 century but fast track development in the country is only in the air not a the ground reality", they said.
The members of the team namely Satpal Verma, Joginder Thapa, Sham Chadgotra, Rakesh Kumar Verma, Ram Lal, Capt. Ramesh Chander under the leadership of. Madan Lal Chalotra, Vice-Chairman SC/OBC Wing PDP suggested to the participants in various meetings at Block Bishnah, Block Marh, Block Bhalwal to remain vigilant and aware masses about anti-people policies adopted by coalition government and other political parties.
"These parties always mislead the innocent people of the state and divide them on basis of caste and religion to gain political mileage. PDP is only party in the state which adopt policies for the welfare of masses especially youths", they said and added that the people have faith on the party which was visible in Lok Sabha elections.
"The wave is in full swing in every corner of the state in which the people are demanding for the govt. of PDP as early as possible. The OBC people are standing in a queue eagerly for the share of reservation at par with nation", said Chalotra and assured that PDP is only party will provide appropriate share of reservation to Other Backward Classes (OBCs). |
