Many join Congress 7/27/2014 12:21:54 AM Early Times Report Jammu, July 26: Senior Congress leader and Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) Hira Lal Abrol today welcomed the new entrants in the Congress fold in a simple and impressive function held at Raghunath Pura in Jammu East Assembly Constituency, here. Addressing the newly joined youth, Hira Lal Abrol welcomed them in the presence of General Secretary State OBC Wing, Suresh Kumar Dogra, Ward No 15 President R.K Sodhi and District General Secretary Jammu V.K Sethi and said that youth is the future of our country. Congress Party has always stood for the promotion of the cherished values of peace, harmony and mutual brotherhood in the society and this agenda of integrating and harmonizing the society will be pursued consistently, he said adding that Congress has always been secular in its policy towards people. It doesn't believe in dividing people on religious lines and stresses only on developmental issues which have greater importance for people. Hira Lal further said that United Progressive Alliance (UPA) during its ten years rule, strictly focused to build infrastructure in every nook and corner of the country and provide liberal financial support to the J&K State.
