NMC seeks inclusion of Jammu city in proposed smart cities list 7/27/2014 12:22:47 AM Jammu, July 26: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) today urged Prime Minister, Finance Minister and Minister of State (PMO) office to include Jammu city in the proposed 100 smart cities, which was announced by the NDA Government. "Including Jammu city in the list of 100 smart cities would ensure more flow of funds for upgrading infrastructure and modernizing civic amenities of this fast expanding city," President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri said in three separate memorandums sent to Narendra Modi, Arun Jaitley and Dr. Jitendra Singh. He hoped that the Union government would concede the aspirations of the people of Jammu city at the earliest and include this city in the proposed list of 100 smart cities. He said for being include Jammu city in the list of smart cities have required norms including population for smart cities.
