| Udhampur, Aug 24 : Three youths were arrested by Udhampur police for attempting to murder, including youth who has been injured seriously after assault and shifted to Govt. Medical College, Jammu. The incident took place outside Roxy bar situated on the Jammu Srinagar highway passing through Udhampur city here after noon when three local youths attacked Akash Verma resident of Adarsh Colony Udhampur with sharp edged weapon, police sources said. Akash who was seriously injured in the assault was shifted to district Udhampur and later to Govt. Medical College Jammu keeping in view his serious condition. Police immediately swung into action and arrested all three youth namely Vikram Singh, Ashish Singh and Arun Sharma. Police registered a case u/s 302 RRc in this regard and started investigation. |
