Interviews not held for J&K KVIB posts advertised in April 2013 | | | Bivek Mathur
Jammu, Aug 24: Rather than helping the unemployed youth of the state, the NC-Congress coalition government which is at its fag end is leaving no stone unturned to cheat them. Candidates who applied for 60 different cadre posts advertised in J&K Khadi Village Industries Board (J&K KVIB) on April 26 last year are still waiting for interviews. A document in possession of Early Times reads that Jammu and Kashmir Khadi Village Industries Board Old Secretariat Srinagar/Exhibition Ground Jammu invited forms from the eligible candidates for 60 different posts in the board through the advertisement notice number KVIB/02 of 2013 dated 26-04-2013 but even after a lapse of over 1.5 years, students are yet to be interviewed for the said posts. The document further reads that one post was advertised for Field Publicity Officer, 13 posts were advertised for Accounts Assistant/Junior Auditor, 08 posts for Junior Statistical Assistant, 11 posts of Junior Assistant, 12 posts of Junior Supervisor, 14 posts of Orderlies and one post of Feldman (Beekeeping). In the Advertisement notice, it was also assured that the KVIB shall issue call letters for interview to the eligible shortlisted candidates specifying the venues and dates of Viva-Voce/Interview in order to eliminate the possibility of late or non-receipt of call letters because of postal delay. Further it was maintained that the KVIB shall also give vide publicity through print and electronic media to the venues and dates of Viva-Voce/Interview for the eligible shortlisted candidates and candidates were advised to keep in touch with both the print and electronic media as well as Direction office of the J&K KVIB Exhibition Ground Jammu and Old Secretariat Srinagar to ascertain the venue/date of the Viva-Voce and interview but according to an aspirant who wished anonymity over name, he has been confirming about the same from both Srinagar office as well as Exhibition Ground office at Jammu but the concerned authorities have no answer to the queries of the anxious candidates. The candidates have sought intervention of the concerned minister and Chief Minister for his immediate intervention to address this issue as soon as possible. |
