Sr Cong leader Bhandari seeks CM's intervention in rattle- row | | | Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 30: Expressing grave concern over the closure of work on Rattle Project by L&T to which the execution of Project was allotted by GVK, the Kissan Development Board (KDBB) Kishtwar under the chairmanship of Shamsher Singh Bhandari, Member KDBB and Sr Congress Leader Kishtwar urged the chief minister of state to intervene in Rattle row and to save the future of youth employed at the said project who are now jobless. While chairing the meeting, Shamsher Singh Bhandari, Member KDBB and Sr Congress Leader Kishtwar said that decision of stopping works at construction site is unfortunate as this will not only delay the timely completion of this ambitious project but also shall take toll of economy of this people in hilly belt. He said as many as 500 youth skilled and unskilled have been working on this project and after the halt of construction work at project site all of them will rendered on the roads. In an appeal to Chief Minster, Congress leader from Kishtwar Bhandari sought CM's immediate intervention in this regard and urged him to persuade the company management to resume work as delay in construction of the project will further enhance the power crisis from which the state already is passing.
