JKPCC seeks restoration of facilities in flood affected areas

Jammu, Sept 5: Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) vice president Mula Ram today visited Raipur Domana constituency and took stock of the problems of people due to heavy rains and flood.
He was accompanied by Orinasing Secretary JKPCC Mr. Hari Singh Chib and President BCC Bhalwal Shri Talanter Singh. According to press release, after visiting several areas of Raipur Domana constituency Mula Ram said that there is heavy loss of crops and cattle due to heavy rains and flood. Many protections bunds have been washed away and houses got damaged. The kandi belt of Bhalwal block, the essential services like drinking water, electricity and road connectivity has been disrupted and the general public is facing lot of hardships on this score. He demanded restoration of power and water supply in these immediately and said that the government should deploy adequate staff of concerned authorities to access the loss, so that the compensation be provided to the affected people in time.
