Jammu, Sept 5: Ten days workshop on entrepreneurship development programme (EDP) was organised by Government Polytechnic Jammu in college campus in collaboration with Micro, Small and Medium enterprises development institute (MSME) Jammu (Govt. of India) in which the final year students of the college participated. According to press release, the main aim of the workshop was to motivate the students for taking up the self employment and setting up their own enterprise. During this ten day long workshop various faculty from the different field delivered the lecturers on writing Business Plans, Confidence Building inputs, Support system input, breaking Project barriers, Effective Business communication, Time and resource management etc. The resource persons for the workshop from various fields were Anil Suri, Kashiv Dutt Sharma, Mahesh Dutt Bali, Rashi Taggar, Joy Ganjoo, Bharat Bhushan raina, Lovneesh Talwar and Sushil Arora who delivered the lecturers on various topics during the workshop. Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal, Govt. Polytechnic, Jammu was the chief guest on the valedictory function and addressed the students about the need of such courses and motivated the students to become a job providers rather than job seekers. The certificates were distributed among the participants on successful completion of the workshop. |
