Udhampur, Sept 5: Mystery continued to shroud over the death of a girl who was found hanging from a tree near her house at village Kathyal in Majalta, here today.
"The deceased has been identified as Salmi Devi, d/o Hamir Chand of Kathyal in Majalta, police sources said. "The deceased was found hanging with a tree under mysterious circumstances and on seeing her hanging, the locals informed the police immediately, sources said. They added, "On being informed by some local, a police team was rushed to the spot which shifted the body to hospital for postmortem.
The concerned police have registered a case in this connection u/s 174 RPC while further investigation in this regard are on. |
