Sports persons stranded in Youth Hostel Kashmir, no one to help | Parents call on Bhalla, demand early evacuation of wards | |

Jammu, Sept 7: Guess the fury of the flash floods in Jammu and Kashmir that students who had gone from Jammu to Srinagar on September 3 for their participation in different sports events have been stranded in the Youth Hostel building in Kashmir and as per sources, no one has came to rescue these stranded chidren. According to the reliable sources, about 70-80 sports person had gone to Srinagar on 3rd of September 2014 for their participation in various games like Judo, Taekwandoo, Wrestling , Badminton etc. out of which more than 20 are girls, have been stranded in the floody area. Sources again said that all those students have stucked down in the Youth Hostel building of Youth Service Sports near Sher-e- Kashmir Indoor Complex at Rajbagh and there is none to help them. Sources again said that the water level is increasing there and still the frightened players are safe, but the fear of the students as well as [parents is goin on increasing with the increasing level of water. After that the sources said that a delegation of the parents of the trapped students met with Raman Bhalla, Minister of State Sports and demanded early Evacuation of their wards. Raman Bhalla assured all the parents to take immidiete steps for the early evacuation of all the trapped players at Srinagar.
