SRCC starts test series for KAS | | | Early Times Repor
JAMMU, Sept 7: The SR College of Competitions (SRCC) today started a test series for the J&K Combined Competitive Preliminary examinations scheduled to be held on October 12, here. The test series includes component wise tests of General Studies and unit wise tests of various other optional. A large number of Kashmir Administration Services (KAS) aspirants attended the test series though it was very difficult for those candidates belong to far flung areas due to torrential rains for the last couple of days. "Every time before the preliminary and main examinations, the college conducts such an exercise which helps the students in improving their scores. These tests are designed and patterned on the same lines as done by the State Public Service Commission (SPSC)," said Director of the College, Parveen Sharma. The test series for the KAS includes seven such exercises in the General Studies and five others in each optional selected by the candidates. "After the tests, students are provided with the solution and also they provided with an opportunity to interact with the concerned faculty members to clear their doubts, if any," further informed the Director. The next test shall be held on September 11 (Thursday) at 10 am at the college premises in history component of the general studies. |
