Army organizes medical camp at Gool | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 29: Rashtriya Rifles Battalion, based at Gool, under Uniform Force organised a medical camp at Malas, Gool on 28 September, with an aim to provide medical care and create awareness on prevention of infectious diseases post flood fury. According to press release, the camp provided free medical checkup, distribution of free medicines and immunisation to the needy and affected people. Around 465 patients including 170 women and 203 children were treated in the camp. The team also carried out checking of drinking water sources and provided water cleansing tablets. Various prominent members of the village expressed their gratitude to the Indian Army for providing free medical aid at their door step. |
