Gulchain Singh Charak holds public meetings in Arnia
9/29/2014 11:18:59 PM
Jammu, Sept 29: Today while conducting extensive tour of Bishanh constituency Gulchain Singh Charak, alongwith office bearers and other prominent leaders of Block Congress Committee Bishnah attended public meetings at Village Laswara and Arnia. The speakers highlighted the various problems being faced by the public in general and youth of the area in particular, he assured that the issues raised by the people will immediately be taken up with the concerned authority to take corrective measures. While speaking on the occasion, Charak said that the whole of the Bishnah constituency has suffered a lot for the last so many years. He said that sense of insecurity can clearly be seen amongst the youth of this neglected constituency due to the various reason such as no special recruitment drive has been conducted so far for providing proper employment avenues, a degree college which started in the year 2008 in three rooms accommodation with 50 students has now a strength of more than 600 students but is still functioning in the same three rooms accommodation without a separate playground and other basic facilities, moreover, there is not even a single proper playground and stadium in whole of the Bishnah Constituency where these youth can polish their sporting skills thus channelizing their energy and potentiality.
Prominent those who were present in the meeting were Gambhir Dev Singh, Capt. Harshvardhan Sharma President BCC, Waryam Chand, Sr. Vice President, Mandan Bhagat Gen. Secy, Master Balwant Saini President Arnia Town Committee, S. Mehar Singh & many other.
