Dogri short story book "Kun Apne" released | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 16: Duggar Manch, a foremost literary organization today released a book in Dogri, entitled "Kun Apne", which a collection of short stories. According to press release, the book which is collection of fourteen short stories is penned by Shivdev Sushil, a noted writer of Dogri and recipient of Sahitya Akademi Award. A function was organized in which DK Vaid, Mohan Singh, President Duggar Manch, spoke about the contribution of Shiv Dev Sushil in the field of Dogri literature as well as in the field of Dogri language and its development. Shivdev Sushil has fourteen published books in his credit till date in different genre. He wrote and published four books of poetry, three novels, three stage plays and four books of short story collections. Presented book is his fourth book of short stories collection. He got Sahitya Akademi Award for his novel "Bakhare-Bakhare Sach". Most of his short stories and poems are translated into Hindi and got critical appreciation He is a committed sympathizer of economically downtrodden and reflectfon of his audfology can be noticed prominently in his writings. D. K. Vaid quoted some of his compositions related to his left audiology and highlighted his strong connection with progressive writers association and Duggar Manch. |
