One killed, five injured in Mahanpur road mishap 10/16/2014 11:00:57 PM Jammu, Oct 16: One person died on the spot while five others received critical injuries when the vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident at Mahanpur of Kathua District here today.As per reports, the incident took place when driver of the Matador (JK028A/9092) lost control over it and it rolled off from the road. "However the driver and the conductor of the matador escaped from the spot leaving the passengers at their own fate, sources said. They said one person who died on the spot has been identified as Puran Chand s/o Rasolo Ram of Palasi.The injured hospitalized at District Hospital Kathua have been identified as Romesh Kumar s/o Mohinder Paul of Dhanni, Babu Ram s/o Nek Ram of Dharpur, Bano Devi w/o Khushi Ram of Ponda, Arti Devi w/o Ramesh Kumar of Dhani, Shibo Devi w/o Tek Chand of Dharkote and Babu Ram s/o Nek Ram of Dharpur.Meanwhile the Police have registered a case and investigating the matter.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
