| Prominent activists join PDP in Bhaderwah | | |  Early Times Report
Bhaderwah, Oct 16: As many as dozens of prominent activists of various political parties , including youth today joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) here in a simple function held here at Bhaderwah.
All the new faces reposed full faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayed and Mehbooba Mufti and pledged that the party programmes and policies will be taken to the people in all the corners of Bhaderwah -Bhalessa constituency.
While welcoming the new faces in party folds, Sheikh Mehboob Iqbal , senior leader PDP and contesting candidate from Bhaderwah constituency congratulated them on their joining PDP and strengthening the hands of party patron Mufti Sayeed and Party president Mehbooba Mufti.
He said there is also strong wave in favour PDP in Bhaderwah like other parts of the state. Terming Congress passing through odd phase, he said Congress will vanish from whole Chenab region only due to the misdeeds committed by their leaders .He also exhorted gathering to spread the message of the party leadership amongst the masses at grass roots level and be prepare for coming election.
Bureaucrat turned politician Mehboob Iqbal urged gathering and new faces in party to work with dedication and ensure his victory in the coming election. Referring to Congress's debacle in Haryana and Maharashtra, he said, "It always ignored common people of the its respective constituencies and only worked for few hand-picked and now people have a chance to teach them a lesson like Haryana and Maharashtra state and other parts of the country . |
