AIJM leaders visit border villages

Jammu, Oct 16: All India Jat Mahasabha members today visited border areas of Arnia and RS Pura and took stock of the problems being faced by people, residing in shelter camps due to constant border firing.
According to press release, Manmohan Singh along with Sham Lal, Ch.Rashpal Singh, Ch.Dev Raj, Ch.Baldev Raj, S.Balbir Singh and Ch.Roshan Singh visited the migrant camps in Higher Secondary School Dablehar, Govt Girls High School Dablehar, Migrant camp Salehar and Deoli Bishnah, where people migrating from border area villages of Treva, Nikowal, Kotla, Jabowal, Sardari, Sai Khurd, Panj Garien, Sherachak and Arnia have been staying.
Ch.Manmohan Singh had a long discussion with these people there.
They told him that they didn't have any warm clothing with them and weather has recently turned chilly, moreover the ZEO has ordered the schools to reopen tomorrow, and when it would happen, the people would not even have any other place to go.
He called upon DC Jammu Ajit Kumar Sahu and requested him to provide these people with blankets.
