Channi Himmat inhabitants flay ERA, PHE, PDD 10/27/2014 10:30:08 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Oct 27: Channi Himmat Residents Association held its meeting under the chairmanship of its President Advocate V K Grover in which the members discussed various civic difficulties faced by them and alleged the civic problems have been exaggerated by unplanned works carried out by Economic Reconstruction Agency (ERA), Public Health Engineering (PHE) and Power Development Department. Participating members expressed deep anguish over non-completion of road stretch of about 30 feet adjacent to SDDM Hospital for more than two months due to slow pace of work by ERA in completion of this road causing inconvenience to locals of area. During the meeting members also discussed irregular water supply by PHE despite the department having filed affidavit in the J&K High Court in PIL by this Association assuring that there would be no shortage of supply of water in the colony.
