Block Congress Committee hold meet at Bishnah

Bishnah, Oct 27: Block Congress Committee Bishnah (BCCB) today held a meeting under the Chairmanship of Capt. Harshvardhan Sharma in which Former Minister Gulchain Singh Charak was the Chief Guest.
According to press release, all the office bearers of BCC Sewa Dal, Youth Wing, Women Cell, Kissan Cell, Advisory Committee, Chowkidar, Numberdars, Panches and Sarpanches also participated.
Speaking on the occasion all the leaders exhorted the efforts of Charak and 51 Member Border Action Committee for strongly taking up the issues of the border villagers with the Administration and the State Government.
While speaking on the occasion, former minister said that all the issues pertaining to border people were discussed threadbare with the Chief Minister. He said, "The outcome of the meeting will certainly give a solace to the affected people living near the border villages and appealed the administration to expedite the decisions taken in the meeting on war footing.
While throwing light on the issues discussed, he informed that the directions were immediately given to DC Jammu to identify the state land at safer place so as to allot 5 Marla plots to the border people. As far as special recruitment is concerned he assured that the same will be done and the concerned authorities will be instructed to do the needful and the Central Govt. will also be approached for the same.
Meanwhile, recruitment in the Armed Forces for all youths being carried out at Nagrota on 31st October and 1st November, 2014 for which District Administration has made special arrangement for counseling the youth of border area and to make transport arrangement on the day of recruitment to and fro.The Chief Minister assured that the government will take all the appropriate steps to do justice with the people affected due to the recent heavy rains and cross border firing. In the end, Charak thanked to Chief Minister for releasing the amount to the tune of Rupees 2 Lacs for the treatment of an orphan, nephro patient. Others who spoke on the occasion include: - Gambhir Dev Singh, Waryam Chand-Sr. Vice President, Dr. O. P. Saini-Chairman Advisory Committee, Madan Bhagat-General Secretary, Balwant Saini, Dr. Gurdass, S. Gurnam Singh, Dr. Raghubir Singh-Sarpanch, S. Mehar Singh, Sat Pal Dingra, Rakesh Dogra, Subash Kaith, Sohan Singh, Vijay Targotra & others.
