MENDHAR, Dec 13 : A ninth class student allegedly tried to end his life at his residence here today.
Police sources said Adil (16), son of Mohammad Razak of Gohlad, tried to end his life by hanging himself from the ceiling fan hook in his house. He was shifted by his family members to the sub-district hospital (SDH), Mendhar. However, following deterioration in his condition, he was later referred by the SDH doctors to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
Though police had registered a case in this connection, the cause behind the provocation was yet to be ascertained. He studies in 9th class in government higher secondary school for boys, Mendhar. |
