Congress workers join NCP

Jammu, Dec 13: Number of Congress workers on Saturday joined Nationalist Congress Psarty (NCP) in the presence NCP youth President Gourav Kapoor and NCP appointed Rohit Khosla as provincial president NCP youth wing, Jammu Province.
According to press release, state NCP chief Thakur Randhir Singh welcomed Rohit Khosla and his supporters and said Rohit became youngest MLA in 1960's at the age of 27 was very keen to see that present legislative Assembly should have well qualified, energetic and young MLA's. He appealed to support Gourav Kapoor NCP candidate from Gandhi Nagar. He regretted for the last 30 years qualification and age of the MLA's have been ignored by the successive leadership of Jammu and Kashmir resulting in corruption and mis-goverance in each department of the state.
While, Rohit Khosla assured the state president that he will support the NCP candidates in the remaining two phases of the assembly elections and appreciated the selection of all NCP candidates who are well qualified and representing the inspirations of youth.
Meanwhile, NCP candidate from Bishnah Krishan Kumar Digra said that there was still existence of untouchability in some villages and now it was the time that we all should raise above caste and creed and end this deadly evil of untouchability.
He also added that the vote of the people was not for wining or defeating but to select such a candidate who can bring change in the society. He assured the public that he would fight for the cause of the people of Bishnah and will make Bishnah as a model town on the International border including Arnia and other villages.
Digra said the Bishnah constituency has been totally ignored by the successive MLA's and the condition of roads, communication, irrigation, water supply, sanitation and security of the people is worst the local MLA and the coalition government has denied the benefits of MGNERGA, the pensions to the widows and old age pensions have been denied to the right person, failure of electricity and irrigation system due to which the people and farmers of Bishnah suffered a lot the famous Basmati of Bishnah suffered a lot.
