People reposing faith in party says Reen | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Dec 13: Active Congress leaders and prominent social activists today joined hands with the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) here at Channi Himmat under the stewardship of party’s official nominee for the Gandhi Nagar Constituency S Amrik Singh Reen. Reen garlanded the newly joined Congress leaders and social activists and appreciated their decision of joining PDP. Welcoming the new entrants into the party fold, Reen exhorted upon youth leaders to spread the message of Party Patron Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Party President Mehbooba Mufti across the length and breadth of the city area to ensure the victory of PDP in the assembly elections. The newly joined activists said that they were fed up with the anti-youth policies of the Congress and National Conference government and same was the reason of their joining into the PDP parting ways with the Congress party. They said that it was joint share of NC and Congress in spoiling the future of educated youth of the state by launching policies like New Recruitment Policy which made youth to struggle for few thousands of rupees in government departments sacrificing their crucial five years of life. Hoping for more numbers of youth to join PDP in future, Reen said that PDP has remained a government of people, for the people and by the people owing to which people have started reposing faith in the policies of PDP and are finding PDP as only viable alternative to the corrupt yoke of NC and Congress. He appealed people to show the NC-Congress and BJP doors in the assembly elections and vote for PDP to form a stable and transparent government. Among those who joined PDP are Youth Congress leaders- Inderdeep Singh (Jimmi), Jatinder Pal Singh, Gurmed Singh, Amandeep Singh, Ravned Singh, Balvinder Singh, Jasveer Singh, Ramandeep Singh led by Assembly Youth Congress General Secretary Devinder Singh Reen (Kaka). Other prominent social activists who joined PDP today were Panch Harnam Kour, Panch Tarsem Lal Bhagat, social activists- Jasvir Singh, Balwan Singh and Shanti. Vrinder Singh Sonu and Deepak Handa were present on the occasion. |
