Electioneering takes ugly turn, Sidhu's cavalcade attacked 12/14/2014 12:15:28 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 13: With polling heated up the emotions of political activist also seemed running high and in latest developments some miscreants attacked the cavalcade of BJP Senior Leader & ex. MP Navjot Singh Sidhu here today when he was returning from poll campaigning in Gandhinagar assembly segment. According to police sources, some unidentified youth allegedly ghearoed vehicle of ex MP Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) at Sanjay Nagar smashed one of the windows of his vehicle. "However, the cops present there immediately swung into action and gave safe passage to his vehicle while no formal complaint yet was filed from any quarter till last reports came in, sources said. Sources added that an activist of Congress namely Pankaj Bhalla was allegedly roughed up by some unidentified persons while he was campaigning in favour of Raman Bhalla at Digiana area.
