Early Times Report JAMMU, June 24: Khalsa Cricket Club (KCC) today registered a fine six wickets win against hosts KC Sports Club (KCSC) to advance into the next round of the Chevrolet Cricket Cup Tournament underway at KC Public School ground, here today. Earlier, KCSC won the toss and decided to bat made 137 runs, which, in reply, KCC chased in 19.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Amrit Paul and Aatif were main scorers with 29 and 28 runs in their respective accounts. From KCC, Raman took three wickets, followed by Ankush, who secured two. Later, KCC chased the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of four wickets. Bandeep Singh made highest 34 runs while Vimanesh contributed 29. Pranav took two wickets and Sushil one from KCSC. Bandeep Singh of KCC was declared man of the match. Meanwhile, in other scheduled match, the CCA outplayed YSCE. Batting first, YSCE made 128 runs in given 20 overs. Vivek Singh played fine innings of 60 runs while Aashant contributed 14. Abhishek and Aditya Chib shared three wickets each from CCA. In reply, CCA chased the target of 129 runs in just 15.2 overs for six wickets, courtesy brilliant knock of 67 runs from Aakash. Later, he (Aakash) was adjudged man of the match. Sadiq Hussain Malik, Abhijot Singh, Rajinder Singh, Bunty and Honey Chib officiated in today's matches.
