Ajay Sharma Early Times Report Sunderbani, June 24: Parents of Bishnu Dass, a 12th class student, today expressed the apprehension that their son might have been kidnapped by someone from Sunderbani town. Bishnu went missing from Sunderbani town on June 19 under mysterious circumstances. After police told his father Sikandar Pal that he had withdrawn money using his ATM card in Lucknow, he said the possibility of his son's abduction was not ruled out. According to Pal, his son left home to attend tuition classes in the town on June 19 last and was not seen by anyone after that. In the afternoon, he came to know from the tuition teacher that he had not attended the tuition classes. After searching for his son in the town and the houses of their acquaintances, Pal filed a missing report with Sunderbani police station. SHO Parmod Singh, during the course of investigation, sought the help of the bank branch from where he had withdrawn Rs 5,000 on June 19. Bank officials disclosed that Rs 4000 were withdrawn from the same account in Lucknow on June 20. When contacted, the SHO said, "Police are investigating the matter and soon the culprits, if any, will be put behind the bars." He said the Bishnu's photograph had been forwarded to Lucknow (UP) police in tracing him out. |
