Jammu, Sept 28: Kuldeep Kumar Rao, an active member of Movement for Peace, Equality & Justice, expressed great resentment over the erratic water and electricity supply in Laxmipuram- sector-B-2 area of ward No:- 62, Municipal Corporation Jammu. Addressing the inhabitants of the area in the meeting, Rao wondered as to why electricity is being snapped in Laxmipurm B-1/B-2 area of ward No:- 62, Municipal Corporation Jammu, as compared of the adjoining areas like Chinore, Roop Nagar Enclave & Durga Nagar etc. The inmate feel discriminated over this act of the authorities. They urged the Dy. Chief Minister, Dr Nirmal Singh to look into this grave injustice & discrimination immediately failing which public will be constrained to come on roads, he cautioned. Similarly water supply is not being streamlined despite the fact that several representations have been given to the concerned Chief Engineer duly endorsed by the MLA concerned & Minister In charge but sad to point out, that nothing is moving positively to mitigate the sufferings of the people of Laxmipuram- sector-B -2 area, he alleged. |
