RSS takes strong notice of BJP leaders attending fashion show Organisation's ideology of promoting Indian values get antagonised…. 9/29/2015 1:12:39 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Sept 28: RSS under whose guard and watch ruling BJP leaders are in J&K , is learnt to have taken strong notice of two senior leaders of the party attending a fashion show in the city two days back. RSS's displeasure over the presence of two leaders including Speaker of the Assembly stems from the fact that neither the organization nor the BJP itself believes in nor approves such culture, leave alone sitting for cheering it up and admiring the performers. Sources said RSS has not taken the presence of Kavinder Gupta Speaker Gupta and another senior leader Yudhvir Sethi at the fashion show function in good taste and is reported to have expressed its displeasure at 'appropriate' quarters over the development. Sources said while taking serious note of the two leaders in capacity of special guests, the RSS leadership has conveyed while there is nothing wrong in attending functions organised by any private organisation or group for any cause, their presence and witnessing of a programme with performances like the one they attended on Saturday only antagonizes what the party and RSS as an organization preaches . Both strongly believe in promoting Indian values and culture and on the face of this reality they should have conveniently avoided their presence at the show, no matter who the organizers were, sources said. While such shows have gradually picked up lately in a small city like Jammu, its implications and fallout in a couple of few in the past which created furore both at the social as well as political level can hardly be overlooked, sources said while stating the premise on which the organisation is not happy over politicians becoming a part of such programmes. Even though the organisers behind this one held in the Police auditorium are said to be so called intellectuals, promoting ramp culture with participation of young girls wearing short outfits has not been appreciated by various sections of society too.
