Jammu, Sept 28: Agriculture Department Casual Labour Union to demanded regularization of their services.
A protest held by ACLU at Krishi Bhawan in which hundreds of casual labours from SM Farm Chinore, Agriculture Workshop, Seed processing plant and other sections participated. The Leader of the Casual Labour Union took great resentment over the delaying tactics of State Govt, to frame the policy for regularization of Casual Labour. Rajan, said that 251 Casual Labourer's have completed, the record is lying with Administration Department for regularization but till date nothing has been done. The Leaders urged upon the Govt, that the Casual Labour of the Agriculture Department is continuously drawing the wages on Muster sheets through Govt. treasuries from 1994 and their case is fit for regularization. Moreover the demand of casual labour for regularization is already in the Agreement which was held on 15-09-2011 in between JCC and State government. The All J&K Agriculture Employees Association supports casual labour union as per the statement of Uttam Sharma President of the Association and appeals to Govt, to immediate frame the policy for regularization of Casual Labour. The other Leaders of the Association who participated concluding S Amrik Singh, Chief Spokesman, Waresh Sharma, Rajinder Kumar, J P Verma, Zuffar-ul-Khan, Ravi Kumar, Tilak Raj, Ganesh Sharma, Avtar Chand, Sanju Sharma and others. |
