Speed up pace of developmental works: Dy CM

Ramban, Sept 29: To accelerate the pace of progress of ongoing construction and other developmental works Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Nirmal Singh convened a district level officers meeting at conference hall Maitra Ramban here today.
"The present government is committed to bring transparency, accountability and high performance in the administrative setup", said Dy. Chief Minister while reviewing the sector wise performance under district plan and centrally sponsored schemes at Ramban.
Dy.CM directed the officers to ensure timely completion of different ongoing developmental projects.
He reiterated that government is committed for equal development of every nook and corner of the state as well as all section of the society.
He directed the DDC to identify the places and explore the feasibility for developing the areas as tourist spot in the district. DDC was asked to constitute a committee of officers, experts and member of civil society to monitor the quality and timely completion of construction works.
DDC was also asked to submit DPRs of different developmental projects so that works can be started in said projects.
He further said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated. Dy. CM directed the officers of Power Development Department to aware the general masses about newly announced relaxed revenue deposit scheme and speed up the collection of revenue from the consumers.
MLA, Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh, DDC Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar, SSP, SSP- Traffic, ADDC, ADC, CPO, ACD, DSWO, besides all district officers were present in the meeting.
