Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 19: MV International School organized felicitation ceremony to honour the young painters and artists today who have excelled in National Level Painting Competition on "Save Environment" organized by Gyan Ganga Environment Society, Delhi. As a matter of good-will gesture and encouragement to the winners, the management of the school honoured and gave certificates to Gold Medal achiever - Raghav - VII B, Keshav - IV A, Aksaini Sharma-IV B, Priyanshi -IV C. Silver Medal achievers - Atish -VIII A, Abinav -VI A, Amandeep -IV B, Saksham - III B, Harsh -III C, Mannat-II B & Bronze Medal achievers - Pratham - VIII A, Samyara -VB, Mayank -III A, Samaksh -III C, Paiyush-IIA. 29 students won the consolation trophy for the event. The guide and mentor of students, Art Teacher, Gourav Mahajan also received the appreciation trophy and certificate for his substantial contribution enabling the participations to bring laurels and elevated the image of the institution. MVEANS also showed their imaginary and creative skills in the State Level Painting Competition on "Energy Conversation" organized by NHPC, under which nearly 430 schools comprising of 33000 students participated and took part across the state of J & K. Four students from MV International School were selected for the state level event and they won cash award worth Rs. 1000/- , a bag & appreciation certificate. They are Adhyam-VI B, Tavleen - VI C under category A & Pratham-VIII A, Atish - VIII B under Category B. The Principal also felicitated the winners with medals, trophies & appreciation certificates. The Director of the school said that every child is in possession of hidden talent, it is the teacher who promotes, polishes brings out this talent. He congratulated the winners and teachers on the remarkable achievement. |
