JAMMU, Nov 19: The Jammu and Kashmir Veteran Association is going to conduct Jammu District Veteran Championship (Track & Field) on 22nd November 2015 (Sunday) at Dusherra ground Sanik Colony, Jammu.
The competition shall start at 8:00 am sharp in the following groups:- (Men) Above 35,40,43,50,55,60,65,70 and 75 age categories.
Events: 3 Km run, 3 Km walk, 1600 mtr, 800 mtr.; 400 mtr, zoo and 100 mtr. Shot-put, Javelin throw, long jump.
(Women) Above 30 years, 35,40;50,55,66 and 65 years age category. Events: 3 Km (run walk) 1600 mtr, 800 mtr, 400 mtr, 200 mtr and 100 mtr. Shot-put, Javelin throw, long Jump. All the athletes are invited to take part in the respective events and are directed to come along with the Date of Birth proofs. |
