'Illogical marking of Answer Scripts by Polytechnic'
NSUI stages protest

Kishtwar; Nov 19: The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) today staged protest against Jammu Kashmir State board of Technical Education (JKSBOTE), accusing the board in suicide of student Adnan over wrong evaluation of answer scripts and framing wrong result by negligence marking.
The NSUI along with huge students gathered in front of Government Polytechnic Kishtwar and marched the rally towards the District development Commissioner's office.
The protest was led by Mehran Anjum Mir State Secretary NSUI and was supervised by Senior NSUI leader Prakash Singh Dadwal.
NSUI State Secretary Mehran Anjum and other NSUI activist condemned the brittle act of JKSBTE and demanding that the officials involved in examination process should be booked under Section 302," at an earliest.
Mehran Anjum Mir threatened the government to correct the ideology of board and arrest the accused involved in the crime otherwise students of the State will handle the boards in other way by violent agitation.
While expressing grief over sad demise of the Engineering student Adnan, Senior NSUI leader Prakash Singh Dadwal said that Board is doing business with the students by collecting illogical money in the form of revaluation fee and re-examination fees.
He said that the fees of checking of a single paper are only 10 to 20 rupees and why the board is looting the students 260 rupees for revaluation and almost 780 for reexamination. In order to gain maximum profits to the board, the board fails students in every semester inspite of doing handsome papers.
Other who were present in protest included Pawan Kumar, Ajaz Ahmed, Sajid Wazza, Anjeel Kumar, Sahil Kotwal, Rayees Majeed, Imran khan, Towheed Ahmed, Aarif Majeed, Zea Rehman, Shahzad Ahmed, Naseer Iqbal, Mehboob Wani, Saif din, Mohd Idries, Rahim Ali, Shakir Ahmed, Mohd Younes, and Shameem Abdullah.
