GRP busts gang of 'Zaher Khurani' group 5/19/2016 11:40:29 PM Early Times Report Jammu, May 19: The Government Railways Police (GRP) claimed to have busted a gang of Zahar Khurani group with the arrest of two persons allegedly involved with a zaher khurani gang on Thursday. According to official spokesperson, following specific input Govt Railway Police (GRP) Jammu busted the Zahar Khurani gang with the arrest of kingpin of the gang namely Babloo S/O Ganesh Parsad R/O Bankatwah was lifted from Bari Brahmna area. "Accused person namely Raju s/o Rampaul r/o Khuda Khas Tehsil & District Hardola, (Uttar Pardesh) has been arrested by GRP Jammu, spokesperson said, adding that a case under FIR NO: 09/2016 u/s 379, 328/RPC, P/S GRP Jammu stands registered against the accused." "During the interrogation, the accused revealed that they used to roam in periphery of Railway Station Jammu/trains and were circulating the spiked drinks/ eatables in the shape of tea/biscuits to the innocent people and once the victim gets unconscious they steal the belongings of their prey. SSP Railways Rajinder Gupta informed media persons that the investigation of the case is going on and more information/recoveries are expected.
