Early Times Report

Jammu, May 21: In a big jolt to the agenda of alliance carved out by BJP with PDP now running govt in the state has hit the alliance with local BJP falling from the grace for failing to fulfil their promises including electricity requirements of state.
Taking a strong note of utterances of Union Power Minister PiyushGoel totally disagreeing and refusing to transfer power projects from National Hydroelectric Power Corporation to the J&K ,a staunchest BJP worker expressed his dismay that the BJP govt at the Centre has started showing its real face and ditching the state which is trying to pick up the speed of development agreed by BJP. He said that as if it was not enough, he even went to the extent of saying that no share of power shall be granted to the state making its position more complicated on this front putting the people in thick darkness.
While talking about transferring Power Project to state, how can Union Power Minister equate J&K with other states of the country which do not have special status like this state, Kashmir Singh, grass root level politician was critical of the indifferent attitude of BJP and its leaders who cannot honour the special status of state and if it was so then what was the necessity of showing green pastures and giving vain hopes to the people of the state on the name of Achhe Din Aainge which would mean a deception as is understood from the statement of Union Power Minister flatly refusing bettering the position on making the state self sufficient for power essentially needed for overall development of the State.
People of Jammu assailed the double standard of BJP at centre and state with the former saying something and the latter saying entirely different on many issues directly concerning public, further said after winning 25 seats, BJP has turned a deaf ears towards the people of Jammu Province.
Flaying the state minister of power who cannot defend the state and fight with centre govt for finding ways for transfer of power projects from NHPC who lacks determination and iron will to think about welfare of the public of state, said an old leader of BJP wishing not to be quoted, reiterating that his weak stance on AIIMS ,NIT, township for kashmiri migrants, setting up of sainik colony, retention of ASFA, handling separatists and Pakistan sternly with their counterparts in the govt singing tune diametrically opposite to the ideology of BJP.
